Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier
Model RO680
Intended use
The reverse osmosis water purifier, one of the most common and effective means of purifying water for drinking and many high purity water today, remove the majority of common impurities, allowing the removal of particles as small as individual ions, making water look and taste pure and fresh. The pores in a reverse osmosis membrane are only approximately 0.0005 micron in size.
Five-stage filteration
Stage 1: Polypropylene sediment pre-filter
Traps slit/dust, rust and sand that affect the taste and appearance of your water, also protects the other filters from premature fouling.
- Replace every 3 – 6 months
Stage 2: Granular active carbon pre-filter
Reduces chlorine (and chlorine bi-products), bad tastes, odors, and most fungicides, pesticides, volatile organic compounds.
- Replace every 3 – 6 months
Stage 3: Compress active carbon filter
Reduces chlorine, bad tastes, odors.
- Replace every 6 – 12 months
Stage 4: Reverse osmosis membrane
This is the primary component of the system. The membrane separates up to 99% of most remaining unwanted impurities from water, including bacteria, chlorine, trihalomethanes, E.coli, giardia, cryptosporidium, nitrates, fluoride, heavy metals, inorganic minerals.
- Replace every 1 – 2 years
Stage 5: Activated carbon block post-filter
Reduces chlorine (ad chlorine bi-products), bad tastes, odors, and most fungicides, pesticides, volatile organic compounds.
- Replace every 1 year
